Ruger woofing in an update from our little farm. It April the 8th, and it snowed here this morning. No accumulation, but snow did fall from the sky. Our yard and pastures are a beautiful emerald green and momma has mowed the yard 3 times already. Mr. Bobby came and took little Dakota back home last week. He was a Hereford bull calf that his momma had died so momma was bottle feeding him. Mr. Bobby a truck driver and not able to care for a orphan calf. We all sad to see him go, but he only about 2 miles down the road from us. Momma still have 2 orphan heifer calves that she is bottle feeding, and will for a couple more months. We now have a mega herd of 6 head of cattle, or a 6 pack of cows. Hehe. Daddy has now been home for 2 months on terminal leave, his official retirement from the AirForce will be 1 May. Xander and I make him take us out for walks when momma has to go shopping or run errands. Daddy has also bought a couple of bee hives and wood to build a chicken coop. Uuummmm honey b-b-q chicken! Xcuse me, I need to wipe the drool off my ipawpad. So our little farm is growing. Xander and I are doing well but staying busy managing our farm and keeping our farmhands (momma and daddy) busy tending to all the farm and house chores. In about 3 weeks it will be time to get them out there to plant our garden. Xander and I want carrots, sweet peppers, squash, zucchini, and maters. Mm mmmmm!
