[Dailydrool] Dailydrool Digest, Vol 436, Issue 7

I went down this avenue.  I will be 69 this year and took in two more  
bassets last spring for a total of three.  Duncan, Nicholas, and  Junior.  I can 
tell you that it was the probably the best thing I have done  for myself in 
a long time.  It has kept me walking in the evenings and kept  me to a 
schedule.  I love he challenge of training them (or them me) and I  love to 
watch their antics and personalities bloom.  Wouldn't have it any  other way.  I 
am totally in love with them.

Subject:  different perspective??Never seen this discussed on the drool. 
But here goes,  we have only one basset, Edgar,who is going on 11 yrs., Now we 
have had four  other Bassets through the years, before we even got married. 
But my wife says  that when Edgar goes to the Bridge, he will be THE LAST 
ONE!!! I on the other  hand don`t feel the same. I was put here on earth to 
have Bassethounds in my  household! But my wife doesn`t see it this way! 
Yeah, I know they tie us down,  and me being 65, and wife 61, one of us thinks 
we are TOO old to have another  one! Anyone have thoughts on this?
