[Dailydrool] Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Some of you may remember that Charlie Brown has had stomach problems all summer. Last month the vet put him on Prednisone and Metronidazole. Within 2 weeks he was back to normal with his eating and pooping. Two weeks ago it started up again so the vet did more tests and said it was inflammatory bowel disease and he was put back on the meds again but things have only approved a little. He's 14 1/2 and has never really had any medical problems except for his arthritis. He's still eating well but has lost weight but has horrible bowel movements. Are there any Basset babies out there that has this condition? If so what was done for them?
