[Dailydrool] leash question

Hi Droolers..

I have not posted in awhile and I wanted to give
healing drool to all in need,

My Odie (a bass-a-jack)
is a gentle very easy dog..
But there is 1 thing he is very stubborn about..

When I walk him, if he smells or sees discarded food
on the ground, he goes crazy trying to get to it..
I have him on a martindale collar & soft harness..I am
scared he is going to knock me over

My dh has noticed people using a spring leash
We found some listed on ebay
Has any one heard of them/or used them?
