[Dailydrool] Crackers at the Bridge

My sweet old man left during the night for the bridge. He did it on his own terms peacefully and quietly. If you ever attended a Boardwaddle, Michigan, Droopy or a Ramble you met him. He never met a person, a dog or a cookie that he didn't like.
In his first public appearance at Fey Fey's bark mitzvah, he showed his ability to climb onto tables if there was food present. 
He survived bloat and in August 2014 he had his spleen removed for suspected tumor which fortunately turned out to be benign. He slowed down a lot this last year. He immediately accepted the two new girls who joined our pack back in May.
So now he will join his friends Spanky, Sonny, Elwood and Jordan at the bridge and they in turn will introduce him to Snuggles, Rufus, Rascal and Buster who were my first bassets.
I will miss him terribly.
