Today I got an application on Millie. She is such a wonderful hound. But the
application was from an older lady and Millie is six and strong as an OX I
was worried and was mulling over what to do. I kept looking it over. I did
not get the email till after 1pm today it was too late to call the vet she
uses to see if she is a good dog owner so I decided to address the
application Monday after I contact her vet and was about to email the lady
that I had received her application but would not be able to make a decision
till Monday and I would call her then.

Well I was just about ready to hit send and I got an email from the lady and
this is what it said.

"I have known Millie since she was a puppy just three months old. She was my
sons dog her full name is Millie May. I have been looking at your website
for some time and was about to send out an application on Daisy when I was
looking at your website and saw Millie. I asked my son to look at the
picture and he agreed it was our Millie. She had been stolen from my son two
years ago by his ex-wife. My son was in Afghanistan and came home with PTSD
and while he was in the hospital his wife left and took everything from the
house she took Millie to hurt my son. He had had Millie for four years, she
had never been beaten or hit as long as they had had her. Her eye drooped
since she was a puppy but their vet said it was not bothering her and no
need to do anything with the droopy eye".

"When my son tried to find Millie the ex would not tell him where she was he
begged her to give him his dog back but the ex-wife was hateful and would
not let us have her. A year ago the ex-wife put Millie up for sale and I
begged her to let me buy her but she would not let me have her she hated our
family and did not want to let us have Millie back.

It would warm our hearts if we could adopt Millie. I know I am older but I
am a strong woman and I love Millie so much".

Well my heart dropped I called the lady right away and told her I wanted to
return Millie to her rightful owner. She will be picking her up next week.
She also said Millie does not hate cats. The man who gave me Millie said she
hated cats. I am glad we took her from that man who lied about her and she
is finally going home.
