[Dailydrool] Calendar Girl

Today is Olivia's calendar day -- celebrating 5 years since her experience with bloat!  Scared the daylights out of us, but we were all lucky.  Made it to the emergency vet in 14 minutes, where they inserted a needle and her tummy flipped back.  They did emergency surgery (at 1:00 a.m), tacked her tummy down, and determined that there was no damage.  That was an experience I hope I never have to repeat!  I always wondered if I would recognize the symptoms in time -- if you even have a doubt, it's better to be safe than sorry!  Our little girl is still here --She will be (we think) 14 in August and is still bossing the boys around!
