[Dailydrool] update

Well, things are moving right along around here. Beauford is happy healthy
and wise. Yay! I say that. He went outside and ate something roten in the
yard on Monday. HE threw up all over the couch. I am still working on
getting the stench out. No it is not leather. Yes, I have a cover on it,
but he doesn't like it and her removed before upchiucking all over it.

Bugsey is all set to see the dentist vet on June 29th. His regular vet and
I are hoping it is just a subluxation and they can just pop it back in
place and he will be right as rain. Meanwhile he is on rimadyl so that he
can tolerate having his ears cleaned. Because it is allergy season, he is
producing copious quanities of ear wax that we have to keep under control
so it doesn't get infected.

Browyn went in for a follow up urine check. Her pH was up to 8! She had
even more struvite crystals. So we had to sit down and go through the book
to find a diet that would lower the pH that she isn't allergic to. We found
one we liked and he ordered it. It should be in any day.

So, I am hoping that in another week or two we will all be on the right
track!

We are so very sorry that so many bassets are going to the bridge lately.
Beauford and Bugsey are sending heart healing drool. Browyn is sending
snooter kisses and I am sending prayers.
