[Dailydrool] Clara and Rolph

Considering the volume of business through a surgery there is a good chance
that the Vet really looks only at the dog in front of him and is not
thinking about other dogs that you may have. In other words, he doesn't
remember Clara at that moment (And besides you want him to concentrate on
one dog at a time).

I do not know why he doesn't think Clara needs a dental. Does one dog have
an underlying problem that the other does not-- a heart murmur or history
of some illness?

Before you have Rolph done, ask your Vet about Clara just right out front.
Tell him her breath is nasty and her teeth covered with green slime and is
there a reason she has not yet had a Dental suggested.
Sometimes it is necessary to bring things up to the Vet rather than wait
for the Vet to address the issue. This is even true of treatment. If your
Vet is offended when you say
"How about Clara: shouldn't she have a dental? Is she too old or
something?" then you need a new Vet no matter what accolades this one has.

Good Luck
