I have actually won several raffles and I think that is a better option than auction. And I agree with keeping the 
ticket prices inexpensive. Do some sort of thing where it is $1.00 for one and 7 for $5 and 25 for $20 or some incentive. 

It is fun to think you might win, and even better if you do.
