[Dailydrool] Eugene's calendar day

Can’t believe our Eugene is turning 10 today, May 6. Although we adopted him from a shelter at 6 months old, his previous owner had provided the shelter with his actual birthday. This is his 9th appearance in the DD calendar and in honor of the occasion he is sharing the page this time with his closest animal friend and brother, our wonderful 12 year old orange tabby Drambuie. The two of them have been great pals through the years and we felt it was fitting that Drambuie share Eugene’s 10 birthday page with  him. As I reflect each year on his birthday, Eugene has been a unique canine experience and opened us up to the wonders of the Daily Drool as well as the GABR waddle which we enjoyed for many years. He is the one our daughters really miss and want to see when they come home from college! Eugene is still in great health and continues to amuse us with his clownish antics and wonderful, gentle disposition. He loves everyone, man or beast, and we hope we have many years left with him.  Happy Birthday to our beautiful, loving boy!!! We love you!!!
