[Dailydrool] Congratulations to Ipo

Simba the Entirely Unexpected Formosan Mountain Dog, who arrived for two
weeks 18 months ago, sends his congratulations to Ipo, who has found a home
with Val. For some reason few people want a jumpy, sometimes bitey, black
dog, either. He sympathizes.

Paddi B Basset has been enjoying the garden of late. We had a lot of
collard greens that went to seed. I couldn't uproot them, since they were
covered with yellow blossoms which were in their turn covered with all
kinds of bees and other pollinators. (It takes a rather silly gardener, i
think, to discourage pollinators.) The flowers are mostly gone now, so I am
pulling the plants up. I give them to our alpacas, since the alpacas love
the leaves (and even the seed pods, as long as they are still green.)

Guess who else loves the leaves? And guess who else carried a whole stalk,
likely five feet high, into the house last night? Paddi B Basset does love
a veggie bone!

Simba was a bit embarrassed. Oh well.
