TOnight watched an interesting, carefully planned takeover. OUr newest addition, Ipo, the pit-mix, is partial to Mila. Ipo was lying quietly on a dogbed chewing on a nylabone (compliments of Jen Martin). MIla was sitting next to my chair getting her ears scratched. IN walked Mariah, who quietly looked around, assessing the situation. MAriah walked over to Mila and started humping her. MIla reacted by snapping (no fight, but enough commotion to draw Ipo's attention). Ipo lept up and came over to help Mila if needed. at which point Mariah left and calmly picked up the nylabone, took it the dog bed, lay down and began chewing it. both Mila and Ipo looked around, wondering what had just happened. All was peaceful again, but now there was Mariah in the dogbed chewing the nylabone and Ipo and Mila sitting down looking around. No real quarrels. JUst a changing of the guard.
