Hello Droolers. Ruger and Xander are both doing well. Do to the ragweed count going off the allergy chart, I have had to put both of the boys on allergy meds. That so far (knock on wood) are controlling their allergies. Xander has been drooling for everyone that needs it with momma making and canning salsa and diced tomatoes. Xander loves tomatoes! I have to keep my eye on him to make sure he is not getting into the bucket to steal a mater. Ruger is drooling to but Xander has been in high drooling gear with all the canning and dehydration going on. Xander has also been trying to make kitty chili, with all the garden tomatoes and the kitties, but I have nixed that idea? The DH finally got the hen house completed enough to move the chickens into. We also got the hens a rooster that we named Mr. Bosley after Bosley on the tv show, Charlie's Angels. DH is now trying to get the outdoor area finished up, electricity ran, and a ladder made for the laying boxes. We have also gotten a bull to 'visit' our cows for the fall/winter. We calling him Bolo. So we now have 9 cows, 9 chickens, 2 kitties, 2 Bassets, and a couple thousand bees. Ruger and Xander having been working hard managing the farm and keeping the slaves working hard to get everything done. All of us here at Howling Hound Acres wish all of you a happy September!
