[Dailydrool] On another matter, the dreaded fur splinter

How many of you have faced the dreaded basset hound fur splinter??  With
four hounds my chance of getting one periodically is guaranteed.  My right
big toe has been killing me.  I looked for it, couldn't find it.  I took
out the magnifying mirror, couldn't find it.  Took out my special sewing
magnifying glasses - no luck.  Found the magnifying glass, no luck.  Dang,
it hurt to walk.  Finally, I resorted to the unthinkable.  I asked my
husband to look.  He found it.  Ahhhhh  relief.
