[Dailydrool] Millie

Millie's sleeping habits are driving  me nuts lately.  It has  been over a 
week now that when she goes upstairs for the night she gets  up  after a 
while and starts this nervous panting and some pacing.  I had  given her 
Diazepam, which helped, but is not a long term solution.  Took  her to the vet and 
she was given a prescription of Fluoxatine which seemed to  make maters 
worse and has affected her appetite.  I stopped it last  night.  The last two 
nights when she gets up and her  panting gets to  me I have taken her back 
downstairs and within 5 to  10 minutes, she stops and goes to sleep for the 
night.  Two  nights isn't enough time to form a real conclusion, but it seems 
to make a  difference.  She has slept up there for 3 years,  so I do not   
know what is what. The weird thing is that she readily goes up at  night.  I 
plan  on doing the same tonight, and plan on letting her go  to  sleep down 
here and then go  up  myself and see if she stays  down.  I hope I can find 
a solution without reverting to pills.  If  I  need them, I will try to get 
something other than the  Fluozatine.
