[Dailydrool] saying hello

I am a little remiss in my posting, and I will try to make posts more
often, but I am happy to say that Nigel is stable.  My old man, so frail,
so spoiled, and yet he carries on.

I almost rescued a hound from BHRA, but given my recent conversation with
my Vet regarding Nigel's quality of life in his elder days, I had to
withdraw my application.  The hound in question looked just like my Jean
Paul, but hopefully he will get a great home in the South.  Truth be told,
he was a stray/shelter rescue, and I am not sure a long trip would have
done him good.

For those who have noticed that I have unfriended you from my Facebook
page, please know, I unfriended all my friends on my list.  I am trying
really hard to turn a corner in my life, and less time on the computer is
one of these changes.  There is no personal agenda.

Doug, I can very much appreciate your note about Millie.  My Jr. got me up
in the middle of the night, always, and to this day, I still wake up and
take Nikki and Nigel out.  Often Nigel is "WT....", he is in deep sleep.
Old habits.  Also, thank you for all your kindness.

PS...  pretty soon counting down the days till PBR in my neighborhood, and
I have EXCELLENT tickets!!!  9/24, and I have an outfit picked out
already....  and a good friend, basset lover, coming with me...
