[Dailydrool] Beauford

Well, Beauford's abscess is not healing. So, tomorrow  (or actually later
this morning) he will go to the vet to have it checked out. The vet has
already told me that we will probably have to do surgery to remove it. Argh.

All three are suppose to get their flu shots. I am not sure if we will have
to wait on Beauford with the infection or not.

I had to laugh. On Monday, I had a lumbar epidural. So, yesterday morning I
couldn't bend over to brush teeth. There is NO WAY the DH will brush teeth.
He fed them with my supervision. I put medicine in pill pockets and he
handed it to them. Then I tried to get everyone to go to their crates for
their morning nap. Bugsey was all in a tizzy. He kept standing in front of
the basket with the toothbrushing supplies and barked. I tried to explain
to him that we were skipping a day, but he didn't think this was in the
best interests of his dental hygiene.

Meanwhile, Browyn has now figured out how to get in the garden with
Beauford. At least she was only eating the tomatoes that had fallen off the
vine. Beauford is still tearing up the asparagus and strawberry beds! So
far Bugsey isn't getting int he garden. He has never mastered the dog door
with the flap on it. Good thing it just goes from the screened porch to
outside. So I don't know if he won't climb under because he doesn't want
the chicken wire running across his back or because he doesn't want to get
yelled at and dragged out of the garden.
