[Dailydrool] Conley update or downdate take your pick

So I took Mr.Hyperactive to the Vet first thing this morning because he was
bouncing off the walls, climbing on me, frantically trying to stay right
with me and in the past this has been indicative of a heart problem for him.

Our regular Veterinarians were both gone so I shot 40 minutes down to my
old Boss's hospital and had them take a look. They agreed his heart was
going a mile a minute, took some xrays and found a little spot of lung
congestion. Started him on Lasix and arranged for a follow up at the end of
the week.
I brought him home gave him Lasix and when he still wouldn;t settle gave
him one of his Prozacs. THAT chilled him out. Also he has had terrible
watery diarrhea and I gave him 500 mgs of flagyl because maybe his tummy
hurt ? He has been quiet up until the last half hour when he began to rev
up again.
I have the distinct impression that we are missing something important.
There is no guarding the belly, it is soft and not tender. No lymph nodes
are swollen. His color is good. Appetite normal. Friday seems a long way
off.
