[Dailydrool] Update on the kitten distraction situation

My solution to the kitten distraction situation was going to be to transplant vines to our fence base in the area near the kittens' yard, and train the vines up through the chainlink fence to provide an opaque screen blocking dog sight lines to the yard with the kittens.  I have lots of vines that could easily moved with a little elbow grease.

But, lo and behold, something has changed.  The kittens don't seem to be outside by the fence all of a sudden.  I think the kittens may have decided they'd rather be inside cats than outside cats--or maybe the apartment dwellers moved? (I never see them anyway)--or perhaps they were just being babysat in the first place and went home?   OR? OR?  Gosh, who knows!  But peace has returned, with no major efforts or trauma to anyone and no blisters on my hands from digging.
