[Dailydrool] Houseguest

We have a houseguest, soon there will be several. She was saved when someone bought her at auction. Donna Funk recently had an auction to help with her expenses and to bring her to ABC rescue who will see to it that she and her offspring will live the best life they can. Please say hello to Dolly. She is just 19 months old today, born and raised in a puppy mill. And she will be a mama in the next couple of days. She's much too skinny and we will do our best to put some meat on her bones. Cross paws that her puppies will be healthy and that she will handle delivery well. This morning was the first time that she got into a dog bed. We're grateful to have this opportunity to teach her how to live comfortably. And to give her and her babies every chance at a wonderful life! Thank you to everyone who has already donated toward her or took part in the auction that raised funds. THIS is WHY rescue. And thank you to my family, who once again will lovingly and patiently endure, while our lives are turned upside down.
