PS Hazel got into garbage Tuesday (I had moved it to the powder room where I keep the door shut until can take out to trash. Except ran upstairs for something and left door open. Yes, yes, my fault I know, my almost 90 year old mom already said , 'You need to stop and think, Joanne!'. She shredded an empty biscuit bag, Subway wrappers, and cracked open and ate a Hazelnut-her nickname. Anyway, they brought me back to see her X-ray. (We X-rayed because there were a lot of nutshells in trash.) So the vet, before showing me no nutshells-just gas and poo, said 'Did you know about this?" And pointed out that Hazel has a smallish BB lodged in her side, outside her ribcage! :(. Because it didn't get lodged into bone causing fracture, we will leave it alone.
