[Dailydrool] Duchess ATB comments on the London trip

What a wonderful adventure the houndies are sharing!  Thanks to Clara for her wonderful missives, and for keeping her sanity amidst all the wild basset revelry.  My goodness, when they come home they're going to sleep for a week, but then they'll miss the trip so much that they're going to be plotting and scheming to go back.  All the slaves will have to keep a close eye on them!  

I wish I had good photoshopping skills and could put together a group photo of all of these delightful troublemakers!  

I am touched that my Duchess ATB was included on the trip.  She'd heard many of my stories about living in England and Ireland, and I knew she'd be so excited!  

Since my sweetie is ATB, she can't send a postcard ... but she did come to me in a dream last night.  She feels so special, that she's been chosen to be their guardian angel (she really was an angel -- mischief wasn't her specialty, sleep and Oreo cookies were).  She's particularly proud that she was a member of the ATB Snatch Team -- she was always lovingly protective of her people, and the neighbors' puppies.  

And she takes her responsibilities seriously -- especially since, as "Duchess," she has both a royal reputation to uphold, and also insider connections. 

With some ATB magic, in the dream she let me see a big pile of snoring bassets, all looking so happy (especially the ones who had imbibed to a degree of which their slaves would probably not approve).  (Which brings up an issue ... since our breed has red bleary eyes, falls over their own feet, and sleeps a deep, smelly, snoring sleep ... how can you tell when a basset is drunk?)  

Keep having a wild, wonderful time, basset babies!  And Clara, keep sharing it all with us, so we can live it vicariously.  We're proud to donate for the needy homeless British bassets, too.
