It sounds like your Pancho may have developed some separation anxiety since
your move. If your vet has ruled out any physiological causes such as
urinary tract infections, prostate infections etc., then separation anxiety
may well be the issue. It is not uncommon for only dogs especially to have
problems adjusting to a new house, especially if his people have to go to
work and leave him alone.

There is a natural remedy for anxiety and other behavioral problems called
Zylkene. It is a milk peptide that is calming to dogs. For years, it was
only available in the UK and Canada but it is now available in the USA. I
use it for one of my dogs who is "grumpy" around the time of the full moon
and it works well to "take the edge off" her grumpiness. It comes in a
capsule and must be given daily for it to be effective and it may take up to
a month to see its full effects. It is available on Amazon. I buy it in
the large 120 count bottle because I know it works for us and it is a little
cheaper that way. You may want to try this before you try other calming
drugs that have side effects. For basset size dogs you would need the 450
mg capsules. Here is a link to the Amazon site for Zylkene.
