Dear Beauford,
  I am most sympathetic to your recent vet experience.  I am a human, dog-mother to bassets Mariah and Mila of Hawaii, and to Ipo, the pit mix.  I recently went to the human vet and had a similar owie  cut out of my back, and damn if it doesn’t still hurt a good four days later and the wound care ( which falls to my hubby) isn’t still a real pain in the something!!
