[Dailydrool] Others who think fondly of your dog

Bev, your comment struck a chord with me. When we used to take Bill (aka
Billy B Basset) to our vet, he (the vet) would get quite googly-eyed. "I
never say this," he said. "But if you ever find you can't keep him for any
reason.."

He was smitten.

And I know from years of walking my dogs around the neighbourhood, and from
going to dog parks, that there are lots of dogs I remember fondly too. So
yes, I think it does help to know that those who are gone are still alive
in someone else's memory.
