[Dailydrool] The other thing with hot spots

The other thing with hot spots is preventing your dog from licking or scratching the hot spot until it has healed.  The traditional solution is the cone of shame for most locations.  I prefer the inflatable ones to the hard plastic ones.  BUt depending on the location of the hot spot, other solutions work too.  a doggie t shirt if the spot is on a shoulder.  And attaching the inflatable donut to the back of a harness so that the donut is around the dog's waist if the hot spot is on a hip or paw.  A lidocaine spray keeps the spot from itching.
