[Dailydrool] Drool for Dex

Today we took Dexter for an ultrasound, to find out what is really going on
with his kidneys. He was not so keen on being shaved on this tummy, I'm
sure. And having the doc get a pee sample all the way in his bladder wasn't
fun either. But we are hoping that the results are good news. Because Dex
was so tender around his kidneys, she thinks he may have an infection.
Though in the ordinary way that might not seem like good news, we are
hoping it is true, since it might mean he does not have kidney disease. If
you are a hound, could you please sling healing drool in Dex's direction?
People, we know your drool production is very limited, so could you instead
send up a few prayers that the amoxicillin he received will take care of
the problem? The specialist cannot be certain there is no kidney disease
involved, but because he was tender in that area, she seems to feel there
is a good chance it is an infection.
