Oh, Merta Lou, we strongly advise the following mantra:  don't ask, don't
tell!  We have known there to be as many as five different black and white
"kitties"  right outside our kitchen door, but we do not acknowledge them.
Trust us, confronting them can only lead to grief (yours, not theirs).
