The Howliday cards from Ireland finally made it into the mail this morning.  Hopefully they will start arriving next week.

Rooney is confounding the vet. Three and a half years after spinal surgery and not walking, he is swinging his legs in the harness, stands when placed, and show signs that some feeling has returned.  He also seems to be less incontinent than before, with a much higher proportion done outside.  We have taken him for hydrotherapy nearly every week and also to the vet for physio and EMT.  Recently the vet has been using magnetic stones and we have been able to use the treadmill and something seems to be working to get the lumber and other muscles tightening.  We are beginning to dare to hope that this 8 or 9 or 10 year old might walk/hobble/limp around on his own again one day!
