Watson loves to eat snow. He was eating snow when I first saw him-an adorable 4-month old puppy. Now he asks to go out just to eat snow and loves the soft fluffy stuff.? He's still adorable, but a grown-up 14 months.

Millie at ER.? Acting crazy and not walking.? Started to run like terrified and would not stop.? Ran at top speed for over two blocks non stop.? Got to vet and could hardly walk, like legs gave out.? More when I know more. ?She is staying overnight. ?They brought her in to say good night, and was walking a bit, but not as good as usual. ?The are doing a complete blood work-up and doing some X-Rays. ?I am so scared. ?The way she was running was terrible, like she was possessed or running for her life from something. ?

Tis I, Merta Lou Professional Basset and for the night, Ghostwriter to
Bleke Doggies on the subject of Eating Snow. (Opinions expressed are not
necessarily those of the GWriter.)

" I black dog love the cold white that falls from the sky.
I like the way it smells and the way it feels when I roll in it. I love the
freshness of it and the way I can bury my long black nose in it and SNORT
and blow it into the air.
Most of all I love the taste unchanged by a metal bowl, cold and icy
crystals melting on my hot tongue. I come inside festooned with a white
dusting on my black fur. I am almost never cold. Snow is not just edible,
it is a wonderful, seasonal treat.
I love the white stuff. Enjoy!"

written for Doc by Merta Lou who thinks the black dog has a very large
screw loose.

Love and Cuddles stay warm, y'all.

So does anyone have a solution for a Basset, who has tasted cephalexin?? Edgar`s surgery went well, now recovery has started. Up until today, pills in cheese were the norm. However somewhere along the line, he got a taste of the cephalexin, so now he doesn`t want to take ANYTHING me or my wife try to give him!!!??? Short of opening the mouth and pushing it down, we are at wits end. He has always been great at taking pills till today. We want to keep the momentum going his way, just don`t like to be so direct. Thanks Terry and Maryann & Edgar?

I think she probably just wanted to play a bit. When she is barking you can try howling at her, she likes that and it gets her going! She doesn?t really like toys, but I?ve gotten down on the floor and chased her around and she seems to like that. I can?t be,I eve how long she is letting you sleep, wait till I tell my dog sitter!!

I cannot believe the COLD! 3 degrees in the a.m. when I have to go outside to take care of personal business. I just about froze my nebberminds. However, I do have a lot of fun in the white dirt. It's cold and frosty and TASTY! I love eating it! It's like a snow cone flavored with dirt, leaves and essence of wild critter. The Dadperson hates me eating the snow. The Momperson says she'll ask the drool. Is the drool an oracle or crystal ball or what? So here's her question - is it ok for me to eat snow?
