Next Friday, Feb. 2nd is $5 Friday!  Our rescue for February
is Utah Friends of Basset Hounds.  You will not believe how
many seniors they have in rescue - as of today, the number 
is 44.  Most of them are forever fosters - unavailable for adoption
because of ongoing health or other issues.  This rescue works
hard at fundraising but with that many seniors they still need 
our help.   To donate to $5 Friday, please be sure to use the friends

the senior hounds that Utah Friends of Basset Hounds has in their 
care on our Facebook page.  You should be able to visit our Debbies 
Dawgs page even if you are not on Facebook by using this link. You 
won’t be able to comment but you should be able to read about the 
hounds and see some of what we do.

We started Debbies Dawgs in February 2014 to honor Debbie
Winchester’s love for the senior bassets in rescue.  Donations
in honor of Debbie are also welcome and you can make that
comment on your donation.  We will forward those donations
to Utah as well because they have so many seniors.  Most of
us know how expensive one senior can be, can you imagine
what they must need every month to support 44 of them?  

Debbie, we love you, we will not forget you and we will keep
helping those seniors you loved so dearly.  Don’t stop believing!
