[Dailydrool] Urethritis Question

Has anyone's hound experienced chronic urethritis? My vet 
says it is autoimmune. We adopted Daphne about 2 months 
ago and she had strange habits going potty. She would just 
do a little drip after sleeping all night. Then she'd walk 
around the yard doing a few more little drips. Doc tried 
treating her with prednisone, but it didn't really help. 
It was helping the symptoms, but not the cure. He did a 
scope and found tons of bacteria, not in her urine. That 
was the first thing he tested. Said her urine is perfect 
and sent her home. I kept persisting, please do more 
tests. This is not normal. The scope found a lot. Poor 
little girl. It must be very painful to go potty. She is 
now on Cyclophosphamide (a chemo therapy drug) for 7 
weeks. 4 days on/3 days off. With all the seniors I have 
had over the years, this is something new to me, so just 
wondering if anyone else had had anya experience and how 
it was treated.
