[Dailydrool] Help - Horseflies!

Living on a farm does have its drawbacks - - (bad word) horseflies.  Mulligan & Guinness (6 years old) are tormented by the beasts and don’t want to go outside.  When they do, if one comes near them they RUN back in.   Gallagher and MacKenzie (10 years old) could care less.  Gallagher will actually walk around with 5 of the tiny beasts catching a ride on his face.  I also hate the beasts. They even follow the car!  A friend suggested dryer sheets.  Any thoughts??
