[Dailydrool] Escape

Mariah here.  Well, we all escaped today!  The gate didn’t latch properly when the last person entered and we werethe first to notice. So us dogs all went walkabout, and Mom and Dad didn’t even notice. Ha!  Even Mila the good girl escaped.  We went moseying around the neighbourhood.  ipo and I went together and were captured and returned first.  the dogs in all the other houses set off an alarm.  “Loose dogs!  Loose dogs !  Loose dogs!”  The neighbour up the street responded to the alert and snared us before we’d even turned the corner.  Drat!! Ipo was going to show me where she lived before she moved in with us.

 Mila was at large a little longer.  mama went out carrying a leash and cars kept stopping and saying, “Are you looking for a basset hound?”  then they pointed her to where Mila was last spotted.   mom caught up to her a few blocks away.

All of us had the same reaction when we saw Mom—“Hey, Mom, great to see you.  Wanna join us on an adventure?  We’re having fun and would love to share it with you”.

The truth of the matter—and Mom knows this—is that we could all stand a little more adventure in our lives and she should pay more attention to this fact. Snooters to all.  Mariah
