[Dailydrool] I thought I would introduce my boys

 So when I think of Basset Hounds, my mind boomerangs to such historical people as Aristotle and Leonardo da Vinci. Even others like Houdini, Cleopatra, Sean Connery, Marlon Brando and the list could go on and on. I thought I would introduce my boys. After Sassafras ran off the bridge, it was quiet and lonely here. I have never had two boys together, but I do now! Wow. It is not quiet. It is not lonely. It is kind of like a circus without the tent. 

  My Aristotle is named after the Ancient Greek philosopher and scientist who is still considered one of the greatest thinkers in politics, psychology and ethics. Aristotle was  enrolled in Plato's Academy, and later began tutoring Alexander the Great. This was one smart boy, and so is my Aristotle! My Aristotle is enrolled in Mommy's Academy of behavior, and is now tutoring Leonardo da Vinci (his little brother) in all ways of Basset thinking.  

 Leonardo's areas of interest included being an inventor, a painter, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time, and is credited with the inventions of the parachute, helicopter, and tank. My Leonardo is also creating new ways to nap and to feed several times a day. 

 I thought I would introduce my boys and start sharing some of the fantastic adventures they are creating together. 

 I want to send some hugs and drool those who are facing bad news and those who waved good-bye for now to the dog off to the Bridge. I am very grateful for those who helped me with kind words when my world stopped. Thank you always.
