Hello from Howling Hound Acres. Heart healing drool to all of those whose beloved hounds has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Healing drool to all of the sick or injured hounds or humans. Our little farm is abound with life. Hay has been harvested. Garden has been planted and is growing nicely. The chicks have grown into teenagers and the Fluffy Butt Girls are laying 6-8eggs a day. 4 of 5 cows have given birth. 2 boys and 2 girls. Gertrude should be the tie breaker once she gives birth...hopefully within the next week. I also have 2 orphan calves from neighboring farms. One, Mr. James Bond is doing great. Mr. James Dean has had a rough go of it, but he is doing much better than he was. The barn kitties are doing great watching over the orphan calves and catching lots of mice. Xander and Seth are overseeing all of the farm operations. They enjoy walks/sniffs about the farm when it is not to hot or raining. So far we haven’t had anymore supper time attacks. The boys play and wrestle and enjoying playing “move your meat lose your seat”. Seth will turn 2 years old on Sunday! Wow! Seems like just last month Ms. Sally drove that 7 month old buppy from GABR to the farm. We love our 2 boys. Xander is very laid back until meal time, walk time or My parents show up. Then he does the “I’m so happy dance” Seth still has a bit of a naughty streak, but has settled down a little bit. Seth likes to sunbathe out in his secured outdoor area. Xander prefers the comfort of the house and being near me. Both love ice cubes, and you can’t go to get ice without both hounds suddenly appearing to be given a piece of ice. Friday night is pizza night and they wait patiently in the kitchen for Todd to give them some sweet pepper, and a piece of pepperoni. Spoiled! If you would like to see pictures of the farm check us out on FB at our community page at Howling Hound Acres. All of us hope that all of you are doing well. I do worry about all of the droolers that might be in the danger zone of the wildfires in the southwest, and the raging volcano in Hawaii. Virtual hugs to all.
