[Dailydrool] Sewing language and Dexter's toofies

I'm not sure the hounds know what sewing language is, but I sure did. I've
had my fair share of sewing projects that have gone astray and have had to
have stitches ripped out--a very laborious process for those of you who do
not sew. Thanks, Sally, for a new way to describe the words that accompany
this!

I do not remember if I posted to the Drool about Dexter's toofie that had a
terrible infection under it and needed to come out. We went to the toofie
vet and had it whisked out. As in the past, it took Dex a while to get
beyond the anesthesia, but when I called the next day, the vet told me it
was too early to worry, though Dex had not yet eaten. I think she was a bit
amused by my mother-hen attitude. But I cannot say Dex did not get good
care there--his tummy just takes a day or so to settle after being knocked
out.

He is doing fine now. I had thought he was barking at the other hounds
because of his kidney issue, but once that tooth was out, he make an
immediate turnaround, so I suspect it was tooth pain that made him so
cranky. If only they could talk...
