I don’t think the dogs care much about what breed another dog is (except if they have certain prejudices like my Mariah, who is distrustful of any dog larger than herself).  I’ve had best luck introducing two dogs OFF of our property—having them meet up at a local dog park, then walking the two on leashes together, and then bringing them both home.  If I bring another dog onto our property that my dogs don’t already know as a friend, Mariah is all over the new dog establishing her dominance.  It kind of depends on the dog.  my other two dogs don’t mind stranger dogs visiting, but Mariah is the alpha and is quite adamant that no more dogs are joining her pack.  if she considers another dog a visiting friend whom she already knows, then she is gracious.
