A message to Ann, re: Allergies or Not? 041719

Our basset, now 14 1/2 was diagnosed w a nasal fungal infection in Dec 2016. This diagnosis came after several months of a chronic runny nose and "reverse sneezing." Daily doses of Claritin and other allergy medicines did not help. After the diagnosis, she was treated w an antifungal agent (floated into her nasal cavity, head rolled gently, then agent removed). This procedure was performed at Va Tech Vet School. Although the, we were told, is 65-85%, my girl is still with us today...and no runny nose!
