[Dailydrool] sigh

Hi it's Dale,
these boys can be just so sweet.  This morning they were laying ying and yang with their faces up against each other and their snooters crossed and I saw that they had their eyes pressed up against each other and were asleep that way.  I have never, in my 56 dog filled years, seen 2 dogs do that before.  These boys are SO in love.  When they aren't fighting over food.  Sheesh.
Chomper had me scared to death.  There was another hunk of carrot.  The same basic size, that he didn't manage to cough up.  He was eating ok and playing ok but he couldn't poop.  If he strained and strained he "bypassed" and got some liquidy, slimy, nasty stuff, mixed with some blood, out.  Of course I called the vet.  She told me if he was eating and playing and getting stuff out give him 3 days.  This was on Thursday.  I had an appointment Sunday at 2PM.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday we got 2 small "bypass" stools a day ..... then late Saturday afternoon I'll be darned if he didn't manage to poop out that other hunk of carrot.  It was the very end, he managed to get the tapered part out first and yeah .... he's been fine ever since.  No more blood or slime and his poop was soft at first but now normal.  This boy is going to kill me of fright.  Canceled the Sunday 2PM appointment.  Vet laughed, said to call her if/when he does this again.
Snoopy is fine, doing great.
