I've been enjoying a good catch up on the Drools. Merta Lou, you can't go wrong making a study of Llewis's Big Book of Words. Have your furmom tell you all about your family history. You have taken your place in an illustrious line of storytellers!

Snoopy, healing drool is being slung your way from the Leader pack. Chomper, you take care of the dear old fella, please.

Describing Emma: Her sharply-angled nose gives way to a forehead that has a pleasing dent between her eyes. It's a nice place to rub for calming purposes, both hers and yours. Her fur is short and softer than usual for a Basset, but then she's got that bit of Aussie Cattle Dog in her, mixing things up. That's why, when your prolonged stroke reaches her south end you feel this odd nub. But it wags just like any tail, stumpy though it may be. Her legs are short in relation to her body and well-pawed. The pads are thick and the toe-nails solid, like the hard plastic Legos are made from. Ah, there's the Basset coming through.

Happy Holiday Bellyrubs to all the furbabies out there from Lois Leader, Emma the Aussie Basset Dog, and Dobby the House Elf.
