Hi All!

I've been a lurker since the early 90's.  I haven't posted in forever.  My 10 bassets have all been adults and most seniors.  I rescued a puppy about 4 weeks ago.  I thought he was 4.5-5 months but the vet ( very little basset experience)  says at least 6 months.  My question is when to neuter.  The vet recommends as soon as possible.  I thought the hormones helped with bone growth.  Suggestions appreciated!  Thx
