Well it was bound to happen and today it did.  Chomper had dug down to the bottom of the bottomless toy basket and found and orange squeaky ball.  A tough one, it might have been a long ball, I bought like a decade ago no one here plays with balls but Chomper found this one and had been carrying it around and chewing in it and fetching it and becoming more and more attached and Snoopy tried to take it and it was game on!  Yelling and jumping and twisting and snapping they really made quite a fuss. 

Fortunately i was right there sorting clothes and I grabbed the ball and hid it under some clothes and then grabbed one dog collar with each hand and managed to get them separated.  They were yelling at each other then ... I suggested we all head down the hall for a speak I almost cookie and we all did, they’re fine, no scratches, no hard feelings ......that damn ball.....

I was muttering about where did that ball come form anyway....no one here even plays with balls .... my eldest was here and she got a weird look on her face and said “that was Cyrus’ ball.”  of course it was.  No one here has played with balls since it’s been down at the bottom of the toy basket all this time. 

Boys are fine, happy, getting along great.  Ball is hidden.  Maybe for good.
