Aloha,
  I just  saw the post mentioning that someone was wondering who had made an applique pet portrait for them.  Might have been me. I have done quite a few, and now even teach classes on doing them.  And, oh my gosh, have I improved.  some years ago, when I first started out, I was experimenting with folding fabrics (instead of using more sophisticated quilting techniques.)  Back when, I think I made  three dozen or so, framing them in shadow boxes, as a basset rescue fundraiser.  I don’t still have the list of folks who ordered back then. Folks who have commissioned portraits more recently can  probably find a photo of their pieces on my website.  I know we are not allowed to post our websites here, but since this is a matter of someone trying to identify rather than commission a piece, maybe I can give a link.
