[Dailydrool] Horton and traffic

Bev:
For years Horton has been on fluoxetine. Though it calms him substantially,
it doesn't make him mean or tired. But neither does it completely solve the
problem.

Before anyone beats me up for medicating him, understand that without it he
is simply terrified. It would be cruel not to help him this way. We have
also tried various behavioral methods, without success.

Though his traffic fear is not entirely new, the fear of this area has
never occurred before.

I would love to adopt another dog, but since Drew's job could be on the
chopping block because of the virus, we don't think it's a good time to add
to the pack. And in this area, dog adoptions aren't as easy as they used to
be.
