[Dailydrool] Hey Everyone! It's Bugsey!

Hi all! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is my very
favorite holiday of the year because it has some of my very favorite foods!
Turkey, pumpkin, asparagus, apples (mom made an apple cranberry crumble).
Anyway, things have been very quiet over here. I have been really sick.
Lots of puking and you know...puking out the other end. It has not been fun
at all. No siree. They kept poking me and stealing all my blood. They made
me do an ultrasound. They didn't even let mom hold me. Something about the
stupid virus. I am not sure I understand why a virus means my mom can't
hold me and tell me how cute I am while the mean lady tries to punch a hole
in my gut with that wand thing. It hurt and I told her so. Lots of
medicine. Lots of shots. New food. Blah, Blah, Blah. Apparently it is now
official. I have this thing called IBD. I am eating new food that is really
yummy. Hill's Digestive Care I/D with rice and eggs. The best thing about
it is I get to eat more than anyone else! I lost 7 pounds through all this
mess. Thanks to the new food, I have gained 3 back. Mom now has an
emergency bottle of cerenia for me and needles to give me shots when I am
throwing up so much I can't keep the pill down. Some might think that is
terrible. It is, because the shots burn really, really bad, but then magic
occurs. I quit throwing up and shaking and chattering my teeth and I start
to feel dog (I can't feel human. I am a dog.) So no worries on this end. We
figured out that my dental chew was messing up my tummy in the afternoon.
So, all these people sasid that mom should just throw me in my crate for my
afternoon nap and no treats what so ever. Well, I wasn't too happy about
that. Fortunately that didn't work either. We now have it figured out that
I need about a 60 calorie protein snack in the afternoon when Browyn and
Beauford get their dental chews. Yum, Yum. right now I am getting duck
sausage. Mom said that Chewy had an awesome treat sale yesterday and she
bought me my favorite turkey and cranberry meatballs! I will spare you the
long drawn out medication schedule. It is complicated. Right now it is
working. On one hand the mom wants to decrease all my medicine. On the
other hand, she is scared because she doesn't want me sick again. I don't
either. It was no fun at all. During all of this I was so weak that I
couldn't even get in my chair or the couch and the dad had to lift me up
and down. It is no fun to only be able to go where you want at the whim of
a human. We also have to tell you what Browyn has been up to, but it is
rather gross and graphic. So, I will let her tell you in a post dedicated
to just that. That way if you don't have a really strong stomach, you can
just skip it. Just know, you have been warned!
