Monday starts $5 Friday week - our rescue this month is Basset
Buddies in TX.  They have 14 seniors in their care, one a new
intake that will cost some good money to get vetted. These seniors
come into rescue with a lot of needs, even if they were loved. A lot 
of elderly in particular just cannot afford to vet their dogs on a 
regular basis.

If you contributed to Debbies Dawgs during 2019 and need a tax

Thomas, our treasurer. Please include your mailing address in your
information.  Marci is working hard on getting tax receipts out but also
has an online auction going on for BHRG so if you don’t hear back
in about a week or 10 days, shoot me a reminder email.

Our January $5 Friday was quite successful, raising just shy of 
$4400 for House of Puddles.  We also had a $2 Tuesday to pay
an emergency vet bill for Mr. Ed at BAGS who unfortunately did
not survive despite their best efforts. It’s hard enough to lose your
dog without having a big fat vet bill taking a big bite out of your 
budget.  

Our goal for Basset Buddies is $4000.  It’s a lofty one but we 
can do it with your help.  Please do donate - this rescue does
a wonderful job.  It would be a lovely gesture for Valentine’s to
donate in your sweetheart’s honor.
