[Dailydrool] New Foster, drool please

Hi it's Dale,
Yep it's true we picked up a little basset girl at the shelter yesterday for GGBR, she is red and white and about 3 years old.  Lovely.  And when I say lovely I mean picked her up yesterday and she came barreling down the hall for breakfast with my boys like she'd always been a member of the pack.  I was sitting outside a while ago and she came charging out the dog door, ran for the grass, peed, pooped and then came over for pets.  Been here about 20 hours.  Go Samantha!!  She walks nicely on lead, is beautiful, is sweet and gentle with people and she's even nice to my obnoxious boys who stuff their snooter in her privates and examine her incisions and especially Chomper, who is over the moon with her girl parts.  Yesterday Chomper spooked her and she jumped up on the couch and landed directly ON Snoopy by mistake and he howled his indignation but it was all good.  She's a good dog.  And for all his posturing Snoopy is a marsh mellow.
So, the drool part.  They spayed Sam .... and they did a mass removal.  The mass removal, it wasn't a pretty picture.  At all.  Location (on her lower belly) isn't comforting either.  And it was .... errr .... "open."  Anyway it's gone now and she's been spayed and we all know the power of the drool so if you all could send some No scary C word drool then we'd all appreciate it.  Samantha is a skinny stray picked up by animal control that no one came looking for.  She is lovely despite all that, and only around 3, she deserves to enjoy some good days.  The more the better.
