Hi Everybody ... Nick Here!

Things have been really busy around here ... but this week is VERY special!!
Mom and Dad don't have to work this week so they are home a lot of the time.

On Sunday, two of my favorite two-leggers came to my house. They are my
Mom's 4.5 year old twin granddaughters. I really LOVE them ... first of all
they always oooh and ahhh over me and call me "Nicky Baby" 'coz they can
remember when I was just a little puppy. They also are a never ending
source of treats. They can reach the cookie jar now and I have taught them
how to open it without any telltale noise!!! Anyway ... the twins came out
on Sunday for an Easter Egg Hunt. Mom was mean ... she gave them an Easter
basket with CLOTHES in it as a joke ... they just laughed and said "Oh ...
Namma!". Then they got ME to help them look for their REAL Easter baskets
and eggs. Boy did we have fun!!

I found the baskets first ... my nose led me right to that chocolate!! But
there was MEAN MOM ... saying "no chocolate for Nick!" BOOOO - HISSS!
(The twins each gave me a teeny-weeny chocolate egg .... SHHH ... don't
tell!) Then we hunted for eggs. The Easter bunny hid 24 eggs ... I want to
know HOW he got in MY house without me knowing .... hmmm????? We looked
high and low, over and under, in and out .... we found eggs in the dog treat
jar, in the apple basket, on the piano, in the china cabinet, in the drawer
with the phone book, in MY toy basket, on the window sills, under the table,
on the chairs, under the pillows, in the wastebasket, in a box of Kleenex
(that was lots of fun!!!) ... finally we found all of them!!! Then, when
the people were eating ham (I DIDN'T GET ANY!!!) I re-found the Easter
baskets and spread the grass ALL over the living room!!! Imagine their
surprise when they found me in the middle of all that grass AND with
marshmallow "PEEPS" stuck to my ears!

Anyway ... Happy Easter and Happy Passover to all!

Slurps,

Nick
